HELLO FROM OKLAHOMA!
On behalf of Their Majesties, Emperor 12 & Empress 12 of All Oklahoma, Jeff Germany & Keri Jo Allan, we would like to give you an update on Coronation 13: Twistin’ Down Route 66, Touring Old West Ghost Towns.

First and foremost, Tulsa is currently under a masking policy. But YES! Coronation 13 is currently set for the weekend of April 16 – 18, 2021. Should the status change, we will make all necessary changes to take precautions needed to host a safe and fun event!

That being said. Safety is key. Masks will be required in all common areas unless you are at a table eating or drinking. Should you not have a mask, one will be provided. Hand sanitizer will be available all weekend long. Anyone violating the mask policy will be ejected from all event spaces per the hotel contract and the Tulsa city ordinance. No exceptions and no apologies.

We understand that there may be many opinions about our decision to hold an in-person event, but trust us when we say, we are taking every precaution we can to host a safe event. All COVID-19 updates are being monitored closely. Thus, we will put out updates regarding the process and any changes as the weeks progress. The ICAO hopes that our focus on safety will allow as many of you as are able to attend.

We have a new hotel this year! Our Host Hotel will be the Doubletree Downtown hotel in Tulsa. All coronation events will be contained within the Host Hotel except for Sunday’s Victory Show/Investiture which will be offsite. Mask rules will be enforced at the offsite Sunday location as well. We are modifying the schedule of events to be as cautious as possible with the current COVID-19 pandemic.

MASK PROTOCOLS:
FRIDAY NIGHT – There will not be a bar tour. There will be an extended out-of-town show. Masks are to be worn when moving through the ballroom, the drink/beverage lines, and if you are not at a table to eat or drink. Seating will be arranged to adhere to distancing standards.

SATURDAY NIGHT Coronation 13 – Masks are to be worn when moving through the ballroom, the food lines, and the drink/beverage lines, and if you are not at a table to eat or drink. Tables will be limited to no more than 5 to a table. Please try to allow for everyone to have a seat. All food will be buffet style and served to you, there will be no self -service. All servers/bartenders will be wearing gloves and masks for your safety.

COURT WALKS - Masks are to be worn during all walks. Groups will queue in the left rear corner or right rear corner of the ballroom as called. No more than 2 courts are to be queued or walking at one time.

GIFTS - A location will be designated for gift drop off prior to walking.

TIPPING - Masks must be worn for all tipping. Performers will be provided with a clear face-shield, or you may provide your own. The Ballroom will be marked with 6ft markers on the floor for social distancing. Tipping may be done in groups of no more than 3 people. There will be tip buckets stationed at the end of the dance floor. Use the tip buckets as this is a no/zero contact event. For Our Monarchs’ final walks, tradition allows for previous monarchs to honor them by standing around the dance floor to tip, this will be allowed, but there will be distancing markers on the floor.

SUNDAY Brunch - Masks are to be worn when moving through the ballroom, the food lines, and the drink/beverage lines, and if you are not at a table to eat or drink. All food will be buffet style and served to you, there will be no self-service. All servers/bartenders will be wearing gloves and masks for your safety.

HOSPITALITY: Masks are to be worn in all food lines, drink/beverage lines, and when not at a table to eat or drink. Hospitality will be closed sometimes to allow for cleaning and sanitization. All food will be buffet style and served to you, there will be no self-service. All servers/bartenders will be wearing gloves and masks for your safety. Snack items will be self-service, but we ask that you use hand sanitizer generously before helping yourself to them.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
FLYERS & RAFFLE TICKETS: We ask that no promotional materials be placed on tables in Hospitality or Ballroom space to prevent unnecessary contact/clutter. Promotional materials may be forwarded to the ICAO digitally and we will display them for you digitally in Hospitality and Ballroom spaces.

PROTOCOL: Past and Reigning Monarchs are asked to limit dynastic names to no more than 5, while line members are asked to limit to no more than 3. Those names and titles awarded by Oklahoma monarchs, past and present, may be used; as well as any titles awarded by Nicole the Great or the ICS.

CORONATION PROGRAM ADS: Information will be provided soon. All Ads will also be displayed digitally in Hospitality and the Ballroom.

VENDORS: Currently we are exploring space for vendors to be the most effective for all. But yes, there will be vendor space. Contact information will be posted on the ICAO Coronation webpage.

TICKETS: Ticket can be purchased online. A la carte tickets will be available for purchased on site at the hotel.

We realize this is a lot of information to process, but the ICAO wants to be as detailed and transparent as possible on our plans and expectations. Again, we are of monitoring all COVID-19 updates and changes. We will put out updates regarding the process and any changes as the weeks progress.
