Anyone interested in running for the title of Emperor or Empress must meet all requirements as of January 31st.
Interviews are to be scheduled no later than February 28th. Any Application and Qualification requirement may be waived if extenuating circumstances exist beyond the applicant’s control, with a two-third (2/3) vote of the BOD.
A) Applicants must be at least Twenty-one (21) years of age.
B) Applicants will have been a continuous member from Investitures of the current reign and be members in good standing at the date of application availability.
C) Applicant must have actually attended 75% of the meetings (combined or membership) during the current reign through January 31st.
D) Applicants must have attended and participated in 75% of all ICAO events during the current reign through January 31.
E) Application and interview dates may be changed by a majority vote of the BOD.
F) Applicants must have attended at least one Out-of-State, State function.
G) Applicants must have produced a minimum of one (1) fundraising event during the current reign individually or with the assistance of a Reigning or Past Monarch with a positive amount of at least $100.
H) Applicants must be able to prove they can afford the position they seek in both time and finances.
I) ICPs and PRS of the current reign with aspirations must have also successfully completed any requirements of said title unless granted extension or leniency.
Application forms must be returned by 11:59pm on the second Saturday of February with letter of intent and fees to any Board Member.
Interviews will be scheduled and completed by February 17th and 18th.
After interviews are completed, approved candidates will be announced to the public.
Candidates will then have a minimum of thirty (30) days for Campaigning and Fundraising throughout the State of Oklahoma.
Each fundraiser must be approved by the Board of Directors prior to the event.
At least one Board member must be present to handle funds.
Candidates are required to raise a minimum of $250 and
turn over all money raised to the treasure by midnight, prior to voting day.
Voting will take place one week before Coronation.
Winners will be announced at the Coronation Ceremony
Coronation will be held between the 2nd weekend in March and the 2nd weekend in April each year.

Be wary of who you talk to about your intent. NEVER say things like “I am running for Monarch.” It can be seen as pre-campaigning and can disqualify an applicant. There are other ways to announce your ASPIRATIONS.
